Projects In Progress Government Junior College Proposal Two projects were completed at Govt. Jr College, Rajahmundry. Construction of Toilet for Girls: Completed April 2007 Construction of Toilet for Gents: Completed August 2007 Funds are collected and sent through Team. Photos are also available for completed projects Vidya Mitra: Support Schools in Need in Rajahmundry We are taking up sponsoring school infrastructure with help of Rotary Club of River City. Actual details of how the project went off will be posted as soon as details are available. Project Name: Amount Donated to Lions club NRI 1: NRI 2: Local Person: Estimated Amount & Work Details: We also contributed a very little amount to Lions Club at Amalapuram. Request for this donation came very late and Dr. Seshagiri Rao Donthamsetti and Kishore Chavali contributed a total of $125 for this project.
Completed Projects Gurukulam Project Gurukulam Brochure: This brochure gives details of the Veda Pathasala that is being run by a trust in Rajahmundry. Photos (Added Aug 2004) Gurukulam Current Students Foundation Stone Contributions made: April 2002: A total contribution of $500 has been made by the group to this above project. Covering letter sent with the contribution to the trust is given here. Contributors: Sekhar Madhunapantula, Ajay Chintala, Prasad Chavali, Kishore Chavali and Madhukar Veluri. Payment method: Payment has been sent through online service Rapid Remit and since this is the first transaction using the service there was no service fee collected. This is the first project taken up by the group. This will set the momentum for future projects and hope the group will continue to work together towards its objectives of serving mother land. Contributions made: June 2003: A total contribution of $1000 has been made by the group to this above project.
